INCH has two Charity Funds, each with different purposes:
The Building and Buying Fund helps us purchase and develop new housing, directly increasing the number of people we can support.
The INCH Charity Fund is a general fund supporting our ongoing services, tenancy management, and community programs.
INCH Building and Buying Property Fund
With rental prices soaring and affordable housing increasingly out of reach, more Australians are being pushed to the brink of homelessness, and many are already facing homelessness.
The INCH Building and Buying Fund helps us take direct action by acquiring properties that can be offered at significantly discounted rent to individuals and families experiencing housing stress.
But we don’t stop at handing over the keys. Our team works closely with each tenant, offering tailored tenancy support and pathways to independence — helping people not just find a home, but build a future.

INCH Charity fund
Donations to the INCH Charity Fund support our ongoing work in the community, helping people maintain long-term housing or transition back into the private rental market.
This fund also allows us to link tenants and their families with essential support services, advocate on their behalf, provide education, and help them live independently.

Tax-Deductible Donations
INCH Housing Inc. has been endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) since 1 July 2000. This means that any monetary donation over $2.00 is tax-deductible. You can donate any amount, and rest assured that your generosity will be acknowledged with a tax receipt.

The impact a home can have
Hayley was living with her family in a caravan park in New South Wales. After moving to Queensland, she found herself couch surfing and eventually became homeless. Fortunately, Hayley was referred to INCH, where she was provided with a stable home. Since moving in with INCH, Hayley has been able to complete her studies, secure a job, and even get a car.
